The Natural Pearl Abacus Necklace is handcrafted using ancient goldsmithing techniques dating back to the 3rd–5th century BCE. Each gold bead is individually formed and fused by hand. The strand features natural pearls, formed entirely without human intervention. This piece is entirely handmade and crafted by Jake Matluck in his NYC studio. Jake Matluck's jewelry line, launched in 2022, was inspired by ancient goldsmithing techniques he encountered in Greece. Matluck incorporates these ancient methods into modern designs, crafting each piece by hand from 22k gold in his Manhattan studio.
